SAUMUR ROUGE « La Cuvée Bleue »
THE GRAPE VARIETY

Cabernet Franc 100%
Different small parcels from 10 to 30 years old.
Yield around 45 hl per hectare

THE SOIL
A blending of the very hard stone from jurassic soil and the turonien (limestone) soil.
VINIFICATION
Harvest extremely healthy, selection of the ripest grapes, very slow pressing. Fermentation with natural yeast in vats. Short vatting for 8 days.
Matured in vats for 6 months before bottling.
No oak. No filtration.
DEGUSTATION / TASTING
A ruby colour, with red fruit aroma. Can be drunk chilled.
